How We Use Information
- To create accounts, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, and provide the selected FreightPilot products.
- To calculate rates, operate dispatch dashboards, update driver and load status, generate reports, support billing workflows, and synchronize connected TMS data.
- To provide AI-assisted analysis, route context, map links, weather context, dispatch support, and operational summaries.
- To respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, enforce access permissions, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve product reliability, design, safety, and performance.
Third-Party Services
FreightPilot uses service providers to run the app. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Stripe for subscription checkout and billing; OpenAI for AI-assisted features; Google Maps for geocoding, directions, and map links; Open-Meteo or similar services for weather context; and hosting, monitoring, or browser platform services needed to deliver the app.
AI Features
When you use AI-assisted features, relevant inputs and operational context may be sent to an AI provider to generate responses. Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for the task. AI output is informational and should be reviewed by a qualified person before it is used for dispatch, pricing, safety, billing, or compliance decisions.
Location and Driver Permissions
The Driver App requests GPS access only through the browser or device permission prompt. If permission is granted, location may be sent to FreightPilot to support dispatch, active-load visibility, and operational records. Drivers can disable location permission through their browser or device settings.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help operate FreightPilot, with account administrators or dispatch users according to assigned permissions, when required by law, or when needed to protect FreightPilot, users, drivers, customers, or the public.
Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain operational records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and improve the product. We use access controls, hosted infrastructure security, and reasonable safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Choices
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some operational records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, safety, audit, or legitimate business purposes. You can also clear browser local storage for local-only history and preferences.
Children
FreightPilot is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16.
International Use
FreightPilot is operated by a United Kingdom company and may use infrastructure or service providers in other countries, including the United States. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed in those locations.
